In 2020 we launched a Supplier Diversity & Economic Inclusion Program. Our program works by ensuring goods and services are procured from diverse and small business enterprises, traditionally at least 51% owned and led by women, ethnic minorities, individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender and military veterans. Our goal is to triple our diversity spend up to $300M by 2024, accounting for 15% of all U.S. spend. This will allow us to expand our engagement with diverse partners, and benefit from an even broader range of perspectives as we continue to address social issues as a firm.
Supplier diversity should permeate all areas of our supply chain. As customers, investors and partners become more aware of our efforts, we hope they will demand more action across our industry. Our formal Supplier Diversity & Economic Inclusion Program allows us to lead by example, committing to a competitive, compliant, and diverse supply of goods and services that will drive innovation in the industry.
