Michael Benner is responsible for supervising and coordinating Tishman Speyer’s worldwide legal activities. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 2007, Michael was a partner at the New York law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz for 20 years. While at Wachtell Lipton, he served as outside counsel to Tishman Speyer in connection with many of its significant transactions, beginning with the acquisition of the Chrysler Building in 1997 and including the acquisition of the Carr Washington, D.C., portfolio. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College and cum laude from Harvard Law School.
