Tishman Speyer Acquires Washington, DC Office Building

Washington, DC January 13, 2014

Leading global real estate developer and owner Tishman Speyer today announced that it has acquired the 2000 K Street NW office building in Washington, DC.

The eight-story, 153,212-square-foot corner property is strategically located in Washington’s Central Business District within close walking distance of the White House, the headquarters of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, several world-class hotels, and many outstanding restaurants and other neighborhood amenities. The building itself features an attractive rooftop terrace and a newly-updated fitness center solely for tenant use, along with a two-level underground parking garage and ground-floor convenience retail. It is 79 percent leased.
