Michael Benner
Senior Managing Director
General Counsel
Mr. Benner is responsible for supervising and coordinating Tishman Speyer's worldwide legal activities. Mr. Benner is a member of the Management, Investment, and Executive committees. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in January 2007, Mr. Benner was a partner at the New York law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz for 20 years. While at Wachtell Lipton, he served as outside counsel to Tishman Speyer in connection with many of its significant transactions beginning with the acquisition of the Chrysler Building in 1997 and including, most recently, the acquisition of the Carr Washington, D.C. portfolio. Mr. Benner graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1977 and cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1980. |
