Jim Meyer
Managing Director Regional Director – Atlanta

Mr. Meyer joined Tishman Speyer in 2006 and is responsible for the company's regional activities in Atlanta. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Mr. Meyer was president and founder of Atlantic Capital Properties (ACP), a real estate and development firm established in 1997, specializing in high quality institutional office and mixed-use properties for third parties. While at ACP, he was directly responsible for the development of over 4 million square feet of office space with values of over $1 billion, primarily in the Atlanta area. Prior to founding Atlantic Capital Properties, Mr. Meyer served as senior vice president and managing director of Prentiss Properties Trust (NYSE: PP), a $2 billion REIT. Mr. Meyer has 26 years experience in the real estate development and construction industry and has been responsible for some of the largest and most successful real estate in Atlanta, including One Atlantic Center, The Atlanta Federal Center, One Alliance Center and the Wachovia Building at Atlantic Station. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Midtown Alliance, Atlanta Downtown Partnership and Northside Youth Organizations, and a member of the Rhodes Hall Board of Governors (Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation). Mr. Meyer graduated from Purdue University with a BS in civil engineering in 1977, and earned a MBA from the Wharton School in 1981.
